The Countdown Begins

I met with the Medical Director last Thursday and gave my notice.  My last day of work will be December 31, 2014 & my official end date will be January 2, 2015.  My guess is that Jim will have the trailer loaded & roll on January 3rd!

254 days until I walk out the door for the last time.  I feel very fortunate to be able to say that.

  1. So exciting. We headed out in January of 2009. We were outrunning a major snow storm and I could not believe how wonderful it felt when we finally got to AZ and sunshine. The time really will fly.

    1. Nan, we're going to keep the sticks & bricks--for us, that will be the best of both worlds. I think we'll fall into the anytimers class!

  5. YEAAAAA - Just retiring is wonderful, and taking off in the RV right afterward will be the frosting on the cake. As you know from reading my blog, I just love being retired. It's so much better than I could have imagined. You're gonna LOVE it! :)
